Ribbed Vacuum Pouches Our ribbed range of side seal Vacuum Pouches are 100 micron made of high quality composite PA/PE (polyamide/polyethylene 20/80) film. These 'ribbed' or 'textured' bags are for in conjunction with chamberless vacuum packing machines. All chamberless machines work by holding the ends of the pouches in a 'chamber' during the removal of air, because the bag is clamped by the jaws of the machine the bag requires ribs for air to be withdrawn.
